Darwin Syah Putra mengatakan, standar mutu perikanan di Aceh masih minim, hal ini disebabkan masih minimnya informasi tentang standar mutu, sementara hasil perikanan Aceh sangat menjanjikan.
“Nelayan, petani tambak, dan pengusaha atau pelaku lainnya di usaha perikanan masih minim informasi tentang standar mutu dan kesehatan ikan maupun hasil tambak lainnya seperti udang dan kepiting. Padahal ini menjadi syarat untuk hasil komoditas tersebut agar bisa diekspor ke luar atau domestik. Jika dipahami, Aceh bisa menjadi daerah pemasok komoditas ikan dan udang terbesar, ” ujarnya Rabu (03/01/2018) di Banda Aceh.
Ia menjelaskan, untuk 2017, setidaknya ada beberapa komoditas yang paling dominan diekspor dari Aceh yakni ikan cakalang, tuna, kerap hidup, benih ikan kerap, dan kepiting. Komoditas ini menurutnya, biasa diekspor ke negara seperti Thailand, Malaysia, Hongkong, Taiwan, dan Singapura.

“Di Aceh sendiri baru ada enam perusahaan ekspor yang memiliki sertifikat yang memenuhi standar internasional dan ini masih menjadi kendala karena minimnya unit yang memiliki sertifikasi standar ekspor serta sistem penanganan ikan,” jelasnya.
Pada awal 2018 ini, kata M. Darwin, Banda Aceh menjadi pilot project penerapan Intruksi Presiden Nomor 1 Tahun 2017 tentang Pangan Sehat, khususnya di bidang perikanan. SKIPM selaku otoritas kompeten akan bekerjasama dengan sejumlah instansi terkait lainnya di Aceh untuk melakukan sosialisasi dan sertifikasi pedagang serta pengepul ikan, guna memberi jaminan mutu produk perikanan sebagai pangan sehat.
“Saat ini kualitas produk perikanan di pasar masih belum sepenuhnya bebas dari bahan tambahan berbahaya. Tugas SKIPM adalah mencegah penyakit yang ada pada ikan yang dapat tersebar dan membahayakan bagi kesehatan manusia, lingkungan dan termasuk untuk jenis ikan lain,” ungkapnya.
Ia juga mengatakan, komoditas perikanan yang akan dibawa ke provinsi lain atau ke luar negeri harus terlebih dahulu mendapat sertifikasi dari BKIPM.
Sementara, pelanggaran yang terjadi pada 2017, Kepala SKIPM Aceh, M Darwin Syah Putra mengatakan, ada sebanyak 18 pelanggaran peraturan perikanan di Aceh.
Sebutnya, pelanggaran yang paling dominan adalah kasus ekspor lobster dan kepiting dibawah ukuran dan bertelur, yang mana tidak sesuai dengan ketentuan yang sudah ditetapkan, yakni Permen Kelautan dan Perikanan Nomor 56/PERMEN-KP/2016 tentang Larangan Penangkapan atau Mengeluarkan Lobster, Kepiting dan Ranjungan dari wilayah Indonesia.
“Kebanyakan pelanggaran dilakukan para pengguna jasa yang mencampurkan antara kepiting bertelur dengan yang tidak bertelur, yang mana ini bertentangan dengan PERMEN-KP tersebut,” demikian pungkas M.Darwin. (hafiz)
